About me
Vsevolod Chentsov has served as the Head of the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community since September 2021. A graduate in law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 1996, he has held numerous diplomatic positions throughout his career.
Mr. Chentsov’s experience includes roles as Deputy Head of Mission of Ukraine to the European Union (2007–2011) and Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (2017–2021). He has also served as Ukraine’s Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons since 2017.
In addition, Mr. Chentsov has represented Ukraine as Co-Agent in several high-profile international legal cases, including disputes with the Russian Federation concerning maritime rights and the detention of naval vessels and servicemen. His extensive career also includes leadership positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and diplomatic assignments in Turkey and Poland.
