About me
Dr. Zsolt Kutnyánszky is the State Secretary for Force Development and Defence Policy at the Hungarian Ministry of Defence.
In 2004, Dr. Kutnyánszky started his career in legal fields. Between 2006 and 2008, he worked as Legal Counsellor of CEO and then as a Head of Cabinet at the Budapest Waterworks. From 2008 he continued his career at the Hungarian National Development Agency, after that in 2014 he became Head of Department at the Hungarian Ministry of National Development, which transformed into Hungarian Ministry for Innovation and Technology. At this Ministry and its successor institutions, Dr. Kutnyánszky held the position of Deputy State Secretary for Transport Operational Programmes (2020-2022) then State Secretary for Industrial Policy and Technology (2022). In 2023, he became Ministerial Commissioner at the Hungarian Ministry of Energy and since January 2024 he is the State Secretary for Defence Strategy and Human Resources Policy, at the Hungarian Ministry of Defence.
As State Secretary at Hungarian MoD, his portfolio is wide, it includes defence policy, human resources policy, defence innovation and armament.
